I hold my diploma with the International Sommelier Guild and offer a variety of Sommelier and wine related services in Vancouver and the Okanagan Valley.
Many sommeliers work for restaurants or for wine importers. However, I believe the services of a sommelier can be delivered to a wider audience. My goal is to provide a personalized consultation service that takes the pretension and intimidation out of wine. These offerings are outlined in this website under the heading ‘Services’.
What I love about wine is that the learning is never over. We have the ability to purchase a bottle of wine from a very small vineyard, half way around the world & without having to leave home. This ties into my ongoing fascination of travel. I have visited many of the prominent wine regions of the world. My wine career began as a cellar hand at Kim Crawford Winery (New Zealand) and have since added to my resume work experiences at Mission Hill Family Estates (British Columbia) and Flechas de los Andes (Argentina).
